At Bayfield Flooring, our team of professional designers and installers are dedicated to providing Barrie area homeowners with both quality flooring and an exceptional customer experience. Since opening our doors in 1994, we have more than tripled our retail space and grown our team with individuals who have direct, hands-on experience with flooring installation and interior decorating. We take pride in growing our business to serve the expanding needs of the city we call home.

When you shop at Bayfield, you are getting more than just a salesperson. Each member of our team has formerly worked in flooring installation or interior decorating. Get all your questions answered and receive expert advice on flooring options when you visit our showroom.
Expert Installation:
Bayfield carries a variety of flooring options that are great for a DIY project, including laminate and plank/tile vinyl. However, for more difficult flooring types like hardwood and sheet vinyl, our expert installation team is here to help. Each of our contractors have years of experience and are covered by WSIB with WHMIS and First Aid training.

Bill Matthews
A former ceramic tile installer, Bill has been in a sales position since August of 2019. Bill offers expert advice on tile installation for everything from whole bathroom tile work to decorative backsplashes and accent pieces.

Kevin Wakefield
A former hardwood installer, Kevin has been in a sales position since January of 2015. With hardwood flooring being both a popular choice and one of the more difficult to install flooring types, Kevin offers invaluable expertise on what will work best for your home.
Mike Huntington
A former carpet installer, Mike has been in a sales position since September of 2005. Unsure if wool or synthetic carpet is right for your home? Mike’s installation experience gives him insight into what carpet types will work best in both low and high traffic areas of your home.

Beginning her sales position in October of 2012, Melissa is a former interior decorator with specialization in kitchen and bath design. She brings her valuable knowledge of product and colour to help you achieve your design goals.
